Arts for grades one and two can't be too complicated, but have to be fun in order to captivate the childs attention. So here are two arts that are fun for smaller kids that aren't too messy.
Beading-

The materials:
  • String
  • Large colourful beads


    • Instructions:
    Tie knot at the end of the string so beads don't fall off. Then string the large colourful beads onto string. Tie the two ends together.



    Door hangers-

    The materials:
  • Foam door hangers (can be found at local dollar or art store.)
  • Markers
  • Stickers (foam or regular)
  • Glitter glue


    • Instructions:
    Give each kid a hanger and let them decorate it.
